About this role

Who we are looking for: Looking for Investment Banking professional who understand Agency/Principle lending business with working experience in Collateral Management, Mark to Market and Trade settlements process. The team you will be joining is a part of MFO (Markets and Financing Operations) which provides Agency and principal lending services to the biggest asset managers in the world (governments, institutions and financial advisors). Our array of offerings includes Custodial, Security financing (Lending/Borrowing) and post settlement services. What you will be responsible for: As Financial Solutions-Emerging Lead, you will Performs several or all of the following duties based on assigned desk (domestic, international) and/or product(s): Processes high volume of international loans, borrows, loan returns, borrow returns and mark to markets daily adhering to established procedures and controls; executes cash movements daily; monitors and resolves pending and failing transactions. Interacts with traders, client management, fund group(s) and counterparts regarding international trade settlements and cash movements Executes instructions to receive or deliver securities from counterparties. Confirms end of day re-pricing and money movements with counterparts. Reviews contract compare records to validate positions with each counterparty. Assists business area with inquiries pertaining to transactional activity; coordinates response with traders, corporate actions staff and other internal teams. Ensure timely resolution of counterparty issues including pricing problems, quantities of loans and borrows, etc. while keeping management informed of any potential issues. Identifies and analyzes operations risks related to current and potential business and recommends procedural changes/improvements as needed Runs and logs critical reports to the balance sheet and provides relevant parties with appropriate report statistics. Completes special projects as assigned; provides assistance to operational process improvement efforts What we value: These skills will help you succeed in this role: Strong knowledge of Agency/Principal Security lending business Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills Deadline and detail oriented Demonstrated computer proficiency, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel, as well as problem solving and analytical skills Should be flexible to work in APAC hours between 4:00AM to 1:00PM IST Shift Timing : 04:00 AM - 1:00 PM IST Work Location: Bangalore Education & Preferred Qualifications: University degree in Business majoring in Accounting, Finance, or other Financial-related programs Overall experience of 3+ years in Trade Settlements, Mark to Market and Collateral Management (NA/EMEA markets) process. Investment Banking, Agency/Principal Lending, Custodial Services, Financial Markets knowledge is must.  Certifications: certifications like NSE Certification in Financial Markets (NCFM), NSE Certified Capital Market Professional (NCCMP) etc. will be an added advantage but not mandatory.
