Manager : Order to Cash O2C and Ecommerce Reconciliation D2C
Experience: 7 to 10 years D2C and E-commerce preferred
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced O2C professional to independently manage end-to-end reconciliation of D2C website orders and marketplace sales, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, timely collections, and closure of gaps across payment gateways, logistics partners, and e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Order to Cash, D2C Website
● Manage end-to-end O2C reconciliation for website orders across Payment Gateways (PG) and COD collections via logistics partners.
● Reconcile order data vs payment gateway settlements vs bank credits, identifying shortages, excess, chargebacks, refunds, and failed transactions.
● Handle COD remittance reconciliation with courier partners, tracking delivery status, remittances, short/excess recoveries, and ageing.
● Monitor and reconcile refunds, cancellations, RTOs, failed deliveries, and chargebacks.
● Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with accounting policies and cut-off requirements.
Marketplace Reconciliation
● Own complete reconciliation of sales, returns, shipping charges, commissions, ads, penalties, and claims for marketplaces.
● Reconcile settlement reports vs ERP/books, identifying mismatches and driving resolution with internal teams and marketplace support.
● Track open claims, shortages, reimbursements, and recovery cases to closure.
● Ensure timely closure of monthly marketplace reconciliations with clear variance explanations.
Controls, Reporting and Process Improvement
● Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS on collections, ageing, unreconciled balances, and revenue leakage.
● Identify process gaps, revenue leakages, and control weaknesses and implement automation or SOP improvements.
● Coordinate with Operations, Tech, Customer Support, Logistics, and Finance teams for issue resolution.
● Support statutory audit, internal audit, and management reviews with reconciliation schedules and explanations.
● Drive automation and tool-based reconciliation wherever possible

Key Skills and Competencies
● Strong hands-on experience in D2C O2C reconciliation.
● Deep understanding of payment gateways, COD lifecycle, logistics workflows, and marketplace settlement mechanics.
● Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel (Pivot, Power Query, Lookups); exposure to ERP/OMS preferred.
● Strong stakeholder management and ability to independently close reconciliation issues.
● High ownership, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Background
● Experience in D2C brands or E-commerce or Consumer internet companies.
● Prior exposure to high-volume transactions and fast-growth environments.
