Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to manage day-to-day accounting activities, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and compliance requirements. The candidate should have strong accounting knowledge and experience handling regular accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting and financial control experience, business partnering capabilities, and the ability to drive automation and efficiency across finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Control
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Maintain compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS, Ind AS, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Core Accounting Responsibilities
Manage general ledger accounting and daily accounting operations.
Pass accounting entries and maintain proper books of accounts.
Ensure timely closure of books and accuracy of accounting records.
Prepare accounting schedules and reconciliations.
Handle accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny.
Compliance & Audit Support
Support statutory, internal, and tax audits by providing required data and schedules.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory requirements.
Prepare accounting schedules and documentation for audits and assessments.
Maintain strong internal financial controls and SOP adherence.
Additional Responsibilities
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance.
Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal teams for accounting-related matters.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments for financial data and reporting requirements.
Accounting Systems
Work on accounting software such as Tally and Zoho Books for day-to-day accounting operations.
Support accounting process automation and system enhancements.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within financial systems.
Required Qualifications
B.Com, BBA, or equivalent commerce qualification.
5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.
Experience working on Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting operations.
Preferred Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in process automation and data analytics tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
