ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are hiring a
Finance Audit Associate
to join our Finance team and work
directly with the Head of Finance
. This is a role for someone early in their finance career who is
sharp, quick to learn, and willing to be hands-on
with the day-to-day of bank reconciliation, revenue audit, and financial reporting.
We are happy to
teach you the tools we use
— Salesforce CRM, Banking Reco Tools, our audit workflows, our reporting cadence. What we cannot teach is
attention to detail, ownership, and the instinct to ask the right questions of the data
. If you have those, you will grow fast here — and you will see how money actually moves in a real services business, not just on paper.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
1. Day-to-Day Bank & Reconciliation Work
Update/Audit bank transactions inside our Salesforce CRM accurately and on time.
Reconcile bank transactions against bank statements so that no client payment is ever missed or mis-posted.
Track and confirm that payments are recorded against the correct deals and clients.
2. Audit Support(with training and guidance)
Help audit client data and revenue in CRM tools against the underlying contract and approved rate cards.
Verify selling rates charged to clients match contractual commitments; flag mismatches.
Cross-check cost rates billed to us by external providers against what we have charged clients — surface margin discrepancies.
Validate expected billable hours and review the effectiveness of related automation.
3. Collaboration With Other Teams
Coordinate with the Product team on Chart of Accounts postings, corrections, and cancellations.
Keep clean handoffs running between Finance, Sales, and Operations.
4. Reporting & Insights (you will grow into this)
Help build and maintain audit dashboards and exception reports for the Head of Finance.
Begin translating audit findings into simple insights — revenue gaps, cost variances, billing anomalies.
Support month-end and quarter-end close from a reconciliation perspective.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
1 – 2 years of work experience
in finance, accounting, audit support, accounts receivable/payable, or a comparable role. Fresh MBA candidates with internship experience are welcome.
Quick learner and adaptive:
comfortable picking up new software, new processes, and new domains in days — not weeks. We will teach you the tools; we expect you to absorb fast.
Sharp eye for detail:
numbers that don’t match, fields that don’t reconcile, dates that look wrong — these should jump out at you naturally.
Foundational accounting fluency:
you understand debit/credit, basic journal entries, accounts receivable and payable, and bank reconciliation at a working level.
Working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets:
pivots, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic IF/SUMIF formulas, conditional formatting. Bonus if you have built a small report end-to-end on your own.
Curious mindset:
you don’t just record numbers — you ask why a number looks the way it does. You’re willing to dig.
Clear communication:
you can write a short status note, raise a doubt without hesitation, and explain a small problem clearly to a senior.
Education:
Bachelor’s in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related. CA-Inter, CMA Inter, or MBA Finance candidates strongly preferred.
BONUS POINTS (NOT REQUIRED)
Exposure to Salesforce CRM (any role) or other CRM systems.
Internship or prior exposure at a CA firm, audit firm, SaaS / IT services company, or startup finance team.
Familiarity with digital banking platforms (Razorpay, internet banking portals).
Experience with multi-currency transactions or US/India banking workflows.
