Role Overview
As an Executive Interviewer, will be the voice of Bough's Research Operations practice: the person that engages institutional investors, corporate treasurers, asset managers, and investment bankers with credibility and preparation and makes them want to participate.
This is not cold calling. Every contact has been enriched, prioritized, and briefed. You arrive on every call with context, a clear sense of why the research matters, and the conversational fluency to navigate objections without a script.
This position requires a deep understanding of market research methodologies, and the ability to gather valuable insights that will directly inform our client’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct high-quality telephone/virtual interviews with senior financial services professionals,
Execute the structured multi-touch outreach cadence with discipline and follow through on every active contact until all touchpoints are exhausted
Read and absorb AI-generated pre-call briefs before every scheduled call using contact and firm context to engage each respondent in a credible, relevant conversation
Handle objections fluently and professionally, applying study-specific guidance while exercising personal judgment in live conversations
Maintain complete and accurate records of all outreach activity and interview outcomes,
This role operates during client time zone business hours (CST/EST), a requirement that defines when and how all outreach and interviewing activity is conducted
Ensure confidentiality and data protection compliance, maintaining accuracy and security of all collected information
Stay up to date on industry trends, market developments, and best practices across financial markets and market research
Qualifications & Experience
2-4+ years in B2B telephone interviewing, outbound research, or executive outreach - financial services research experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to engage senior professional audiences on the telephone; comfort navigating gatekeepers and reaching decision-makers directly
Familiarity with structured contact strategies, project tracking, and dialer or campaign tools used in primary research environments
Exposure to financial services terminology and the ability to hold a credible conversation with C-suite and senior finance professionals
Exceptional spoken and written English - you will be the voice of a global consulting firm engaging with the world's most senior financial professionals
