🔹 Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
MEP Procurement Executive
who can manage end-to-end procurement of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing materials. The ideal candidate should have strong vendor management skills, knowledge of MEP items, negotiation capability, and the ability to handle multiple project requirements simultaneously.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Sourcing
Handle sourcing and procurement of
MEP materials
(mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
Float RFQs, compare quotations, and prepare techno-commercial comparisons.
Ensure timely material availability as per project schedules.
Identify and onboard new vendors for MEP products.
2. Vendor Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and local suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and credit terms.
Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery, and compliance.
3. Purchase Order Management
Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) with accuracy and ensure alignment with site requirements.
Coordinate with site teams for material specifications and approvals.
Track PO status, follow up for delivery, and resolve discrepancies.
4. Material & Cost Control
Ensure purchase within approved budgets while maintaining required quality standards.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternate sourcing and negotiations.
Support the team in preparing cost sheets and budget tracking.
5. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain vendor records, rate contracts, and item master data.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements.
Coordinate with finance for invoice clearance, GRN issues, and payment follow-ups.

Strong knowledge of
MEP materials, specifications, and brands

Proficient in
SAP / ERP / MS Excel / Purchase Modules
.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and comparison skills for BOQ and technical data.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple project requirements.
🔹 Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (preferred).
3–4 years of proven experience in
MEP procurement
.
Experience in contracting, construction, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
