About the team
The Client OFfice AI/ML CoE team is a horizontal CoE for Client Office that is helping us drive revenue and bring significant savings to our businesses by identifying, exploring, and implementing AI/ML solutions.
The Client Office is one of the three verticals in FIS. It has various products and solutions in funds management, cleared derivatives, commercial lending, corporate treasury, insurance risk electronic trading, RegTech, wealth and retirement etc.
The team consists of highly motivated solution architects, data scientists and ML engineers.
What you will be doing
As a Data Scientist, you will be working on developing cutting-edge Gen AI and Agentic solutions across the organization.
What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience
10+ years of overall experience with 4+ years on AI/Gen AI/Agentic AI
Strong experience in
statistical analysis
, experimentation, and data‑driven problem solving
Designing and developing
end‑to‑end ML models
— from data exploration to production deployment
Hands‑on experience building:
Predictive models
Classification and regression models
Clustering & segmentation
Time‑series forecasting
Optimization models
Expertise in
feature engineering
, data preprocessing, and handling large, messy, real‑world datasets
Experience with
ML lifecycle
: model training, validation, evaluation, monitoring, and retraining
Ability to work with
big data ecosystems
(Spark, Hadoop, Databricks, EMR, or similar)
Experience operationalizing ML using
REST APIs
, batch jobs, or cloud AI/ML services
Understanding of
MLOps
concepts (CI/CD for ML, model versioning, model drift, monitoring)
Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Skills
Strong proficiency in
Python

Strong understanding of

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
