. Programming skills: Good OOP/OOD knowledge to design and implement complex functional modules. Understanding of different algorithms, and experience selecting different algorithms to meet different business needs. Database design/optimization: Familiar with structured database design and optimization of complex SQL scripts/stored procedures.
3. Troubleshoot & Solution Delivery: Ability to understand root causes to problems, and identifying potential solutions. Ability to follow through on a structured approach to problem solving.
4. Technology Skill set: Minimum 3 years’ experience with ASP.NET, C#, MS-SQL, jQuery, Entity Framework and frequently used design patterns/principles.
5. Tools: Familiar with Microsoft design and programming tools, including Visual Studio, SVN, SQL Server Management Studio etc.
6. Exposure/ experience in Insurance domain would be an added advantage.
