Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled
Data Engineer
with hands‑on experience in modern data stack tools including
DBT
,
Snowflake
,
Airbyte
,
Dagster
, and strong
SQL
expertise. The role involves building scalable data pipelines, ensuring high‑quality transformations, and enabling reliable data flows across the analytics ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain
ELT/ETL pipelines
using
Airbyte
(ingestion) and
Dagster
(orchestration).
Develop and manage
DBT models
, including staging, transformation, testing, and documentation.
Work extensively with
Snowflake
to build warehouses, optimize queries, manage schemas, and ensure data performance.
Implement data quality checks, lineage tracking, and pipeline observability.
Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver clean and reliable data assets.
Optimize SQL queries and data models for performance and cost efficiency.
Automate pipeline deployments and follow best practices for version control and CI/CD.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with
DBT
(models, macros, tests, exposures).
Proficiency in
Snowflake
— warehouses, roles, Snowpipe, performance tuning.
Experience using
Airbyte
for data ingestion and connector configuration.
Experience with
Dagster
for pipeline orchestration and scheduling.
Excellent
SQL
skills for complex transformations and optimization.
Understanding of data modeling (star/snowflake schema, dimensional modeling).
Knowledge of Git-based workflows and CI/CD.
