Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for solar cleaning robots
Prepare
2D drawings, 3D models, and BOMs
using CAD software
Work on
sheet metal design, fabrication drawings, and assembly design
Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection
Coordinate with
production, procurement, and quality teams
for design implementation
Support
prototype development, testing, and validation
Identify and resolve design issues during manufacturing and field operations
Optimize designs for
cost, performance, and durability
Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and standards
Work on continuous improvement and new product development
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of
mechanical design fundamentals
Experience in
CAD software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Creo or similar)
Good understanding of
sheet metal, welding, and fabrication processes
Knowledge of
gear mechanisms, motors, and drive systems
Familiarity with
IP ratings, outdoor product design, and corrosion protection
Basic understanding of
electrical integration (motors, sensors, wiring)
