Coordinate with the core coil assembly team and production planning to schedule tanking activities.
Ensure availability of tank, accessories, gaskets, and lifting equipment before starting.
Oversee the safe and precise lowering of the core coil assembly into the tank.
Ensure proper alignment, support structure positioning, and secure fixing inside the tank.
Ensure vacuum tightness and leak tests are conducted before oil filling.
Coordinate with the oil processing team for oil filling under vacuum.
Ensure assembly meets quality standards (IS/IEC specifications) and pass required inspection checklists.
Allocate daily tasks to technicians and helpers involved in tanking.
Train and guide the team on proper handling, safety, and technical procedures.
Maintain records of tanking procedures, torque values, inspection reports, and any deviations/NCRs.
Report to the production or plant head regarding progress, issues, and improvements.
Handover the transformer to the testing department after successful tanking and oil filling.
