We are looking for an
Embedded Automotive Engineer
to design, develop, and validate embedded software for automotive electronic control units (ECUs). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in
C/C++ programming
,
AUTOSAR
, and
automotive communication protocols
, along with a solid understanding of
functional safety and automotive standards
.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for automotive ECUs and infotainment systems
Develop software using Embedded C / C++ for real-time automotive applications
Work with AUTOSAR (Classic / Adaptive) architectures and configuration tools
Integrate MCAL, BSW, and Application layers
Develop and debug device drivers (CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART)
Integrate embedded services with Android / Android Automotive OS (AAOS)
Work on Android HAL, AIDL/HIDL, Binder IPC, and system services
Support Android bring-up, board support package (BSP), and system integration
Perform debugging and profiling across Linux, Android, and RTOS layers
Conduct unit, integration, SIL/HIL testing
Ensure compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, MISRA-C
Collaborate with hardware, Android, system, and validation teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in
Embedded C / C++
Experience with
Automotive ECUs and Microcontrollers
(Infineon, NXP, Renesas, TI, STM)
Hands-on experience with
AUTOSAR Classic / Adaptive
Knowledge of
automotive communication protocols
:
CAN, CAN FD
LIN
FlexRay (preferred)
Automotive Ethernet (preferred)
Experience with
RTOS
(OSEK/VDX, FreeRTOS, QNX)
Familiarity with development tools (Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, EB Tresos, DaVinci)
Understanding of
bootloaders, diagnostics (UDS), and OTA updates
Standards & Process
Knowledge of
ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
Understanding of
ASPICE (Automotive SPICE)
processes
Familiarity with
MISRA-C coding standards
Experience working in
Agile / V-model
development models
Education Bachelor’s or master’s degree in
Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or Embedded Systems
Experience: 2 to 4 Years
Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore
Shift: General
Work Week: Monday to Friday
