Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with fundamental knowledge in electrical and electronics systems, electrical schematics, and low-voltage automotive systems. The candidate should be capable of supporting design, development, and documentation activities related to wiring harnesses and electrical integration.
What You’ll Do:
Design and develop electrical schematics for low-voltage automotive systems.
Create and modify wiring harness drawings and electrical layouts.
Work on
SolidWorks Electrical
or
AutoCAD Electrical
for schematic and harness design.
Support integration of low-voltage systems .
Assist in component selection (relays, fuses, connectors, sensors, etc.).
Prepare BOMs and technical documentation.
Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Embedded, Production).
Troubleshoot basic electrical and wiring-related issues.
Who Can Apply?
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or related field.
Basic understanding of:
Electrical & electronics fundamentals
Electrical schematics and symbols
Automotive low-voltage systems
Wiring harness design concepts
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Good to Have:
Knowledge of automotive standards and best practices.
Hands-on experience with:
SolidWorks Electrical
OR
AutoCAD Electrical
Understanding of connectors, harness routing, and protection methods.
Basic knowledge of CAN communication is an added advantage.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
