Roles and Responsibilities: Be the architect for Genset control system platform & Industrial Automation Design interfaces between various proprietary hardware (ECU’s, Gen control panels, PLC’s, HMI’s) Work directly with controls and governor manufacturers to improve functionality and mitigate issues Specify, design, validate, and maintain control systems Develop special customer applications with controls system Hardware responsibilities: voltage regulators, control panels, engine ECUs, PLC’s, and other protective relays Work within a global electrical engineering organization and co-ordinate with global team in respective projects Devise strategic plans for problem resolutions using facts and gathered data Promotes a compliance culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the company Code of Conduct Involve in development and validation of special customer projects and as required. Leverage global knowledge base to support R&D developments and customized deployments Skills and Experience: Experience in Years: 8 to 12 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation Gensets / Power systems + system integration knowledge SCADA systems software expertise Wago or similar PLC programming (IC 61131-3) + Controls experience Codesys or similar experience (OPTIX/Automation Studio/Wonderware) Communication protocol expertise (Modbus, CAN, OPC UA, TCP/IP) Location: Pune, Maharashtra
