About the Net Zero Project
The Net Zero Schools Initiative, undertaken in partnership with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, aims to transform schools into sustainable and climate-resilient campuses through integrated interventions in renewable energy, water conservation, waste management, and ecological restoration.
The project follows a centralized planning and monitoring framework with decentralized district-level execution, enabling scalability, consistency, and effective on-ground implementation across schools.
By combining infrastructure upgrades with capacity building, behavioural change initiatives, and data-driven monitoring systems, the project seeks to establish a replicable model for sustainable school transformation that can be scaled across the state and beyond.
