Job Title: Director of sales/Country Head
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated
Director of Sales / Country Head
who is responsible for overseeing and directing the sales operations within a specific country. This executive role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, driving revenue growth, managing a high-performing sales team, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. The Director of Sales / Country Head will ensure the company's sales objectives are met and contribute to overall business success.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets within the country.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional sales managers and sales representatives.
Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to ensure a high-performing team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to improve team effectiveness.
Drive revenue growth and profitability by maximizing sales opportunities and optimizing pricing strategies.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps and improve sales outcomes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
Identify and develop new market opportunities within the country.
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and events.
Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to maintain a competitive edge.
Ensure efficient sales operations by implementing effective processes and systems.
Oversee sales budget management, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations within the country
Prepare and present regular sales reports to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Utilize data and analytics to make informed business decisions and drive sales performance.
Work closely with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Product Development, Finance) to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
Minimum of 15+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in [specific industry] is preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
