Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of PMO - Operations & HRD to lead our Project Management Office, ensuring the successful delivery of projects across the organization. This role is crucial for optimizing project performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving HR development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, operations, and human resources within the IT industry. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement PMO strategies that align with the company’s business objectives. Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of the project portfolio, ensuring projects are prioritized, resourced, and executed effectively. Methodology Development: Establish and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and project delivery. Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation and utilization across projects to ensure optimal performance. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes. Talent Management: Lead HR development initiatives, including talent acquisition, training, and career development programs. Performance Management: Implement performance management systems to evaluate and improve employee performance. Employee Engagement: Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Team Development: Mentor and develop PMO and HR teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Performance Monitoring: Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members. Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve project and HR-related issues and conflicts promptly and effectively. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the PMO and HR budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources. Financial Reporting: Oversee financial reporting and analysis for projects and HR activities. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure PMO and HR operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Reporting: Prepare and present PMO and HR reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of project delivery and HR practices. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Experience: 15+ years of experience in project management, operations, and HR development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the IT industry. Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP, Agile). IT Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT operations and infrastructure. HR Systems: Experience with HR management systems and tools. Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and manage conflicts effectively. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, ITIL, or SHRM. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the IT industry and its specific project management and HR development challenges and requirements.
