As a key member of the Digital Assets Technology leadership team, this role reports to Head of Digital Assets Technonology. A forward-looking technology leader who is experienced in developing data, AI and cloud architecture startegies and has a track record of driving them through to execution and support.
Drive digital technology data, AI and innovative solutions, working cross-functional across different geographies
Key Responsibilities
Data & AI Strategy & Architecture:
Design and own end-to-end data pipelines, AI-ready infrastructure, and feature stores (e.g.,
Databricks
) that support both batch and real-time streaming.
AI/ML & GenAI Enablement:
Build, deploy, and monitor machine learning models and integrate foundational models (
OpenAI
,
Amazon Bedrock
) into production.
Data Governance & Quality:
Set standards for data quality, lineage, and security, ensuring compliance with regulations like
GDPR
/
CCPA
.
Team Leadership & Engineering:
Lead multidisciplinary teams to build a self-service data and AI services with "golden path" templates and MLOps tools, fostering a culture of innovation and high ownership.
Ensure collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices between various locations to ensure a robust digital assets data ecosystem
Able to manage effectively a number of competing priorities
A strategic thinker with the ability to lead by example demonstrating an ability to deliver set tasks, objectives and strategic priorities
Identifying new tools – AI, BI, digital, automation – that can support, enhance and improve our solutions.
Understand core business processes and associated technical solutions & architcture
Assessing current methods and recommending improvements
Ability to contribute to and implement organisational strategy
Capacity to work with people at all levels in an organisation and with people from many cultural backgrounds.
Have an innovative and disruptive mindset, constantly looking forward
Qualification:
Completed bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, such as computer science or information systems
Advanced degree in business, technology, or engineering is a plus
16 + years’ experience in a similar role designing and launching digital platforms
Proven track record of leading successful data, AI, cloud initiatives
