About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
OT/IoT Security Deployment Specialist
to join our Cyber Security practice. This role is focused on the
design and implementation of Microsoft Defender for IoT solutions
across industrial and critical infrastructure environments.
You will work with enterprise clients to strengthen their OT and IoT security posture through high-quality delivery, technical excellence, and alignment with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver end-to-end implementations of
Microsoft Defender for IoT/OT
solutions.
Design and configure secure OT/IoT security architectures.
Deploy and onboard sensors and network integrations.
Support proof-of-concept, pilot, and production deployments.
Perform solution configuration, tuning, and optimization.
Develop technical documentation and implementation deliverables.
Collaborate with client IT, OT, and engineering teams.
Provide knowledge transfer and deployment handover.
Required Skills and Experience
Technical Experience
Hands-on experience with
Microsoft Defender for IoT/OT deployments
.
Strong understanding of OT/ICS environments, including SCADA, PLC, DCS, and RTU systems.
Knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC, DNP3, BACnet, Profinet, and EtherNet/IP.
Experience with OT network architectures and segmentation.
Practical exposure to traffic mirroring technologies (SPAN, TAP, packet brokers).
Familiarity with Azure and Microsoft security platforms.
Experience working in restricted, high-availability, or air-gapped environments.
Professional Experience
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, OT engineering, or industrial systems.
Proven experience delivering enterprise security implementations.
Experience in manufacturing, energy, utilities, oil & gas, or transportation sectors preferred.
Consulting or system integrator background is an advantage.
