Role Overview
This role combines traditional pricing expertise with modern AI-driven insights to enhance decision-making, improve win rates, and drive profitability. We are seeking a highly analytical professional to be a part of deal pricing, financial structuring (models), and value optimization for client engagements in collaboration with Sales team.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Automation Integration
Lead end-to-end pricing for client deals including RFPs, renewals, and strategic bids
Build robust financial models (revenue, cost, margin, etc) to support deal decisions
Partner with Sales, Finance, and Delivery teams to structure competitive and profitable deals
Develop pricing strategies aligned with market benchmarks and client expectations
Identify risks, sensitivities, and margin optimization opportunities
Analytics & Insights
Leverage AI/ML tools to enhance pricing accuracy, forecasting, and decision support
Automate repetitive pricing workflows using AI tools (e.g., predictive models, GenAI-based proposal support)
Collaborate with data/AI teams to embed intelligent pricing solutions into business processes
Create dashboards and reports to support pricing governance and decision-making
Analyze historical deal data to identify pricing trends, win/loss drivers, and margin leakage
Support leadership with scenario analysis and strategic recommendations
Leverage AI/ML tools to enhance pricing accuracy, forecasting, and decision support
Build or utilize AI-driven models for Price optimization
Competitive benchmarking
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with Sales, FP&A, and Delivery teams to align on deal structure
Present pricing recommendations and insights to senior leadership
Act as a trusted advisor in rebid negotiations
Qualifications & Experience
AI & Technical Skills (Key Requirement)
Hands-on exposure to AI/ML tools or platforms (e.g.SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent with 8–12 years of experience in pricing, FP&A, or deal desk roles
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Experience in handling large/complex deals or bids
Understanding of data modeling, predictive analytics, or pricing algorithms is highly preferred
Ability to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions
Core Competencies
Excellent problem-solving and structured thinking
High attention to detail with ability to work under tight deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in industries like IT services, consulting, BFSI
Exposure to pricing tools/platforms
Prior experience in digital transformation or analytics initiatives
