Data Platform Lead
Role Summary:
Leads data architecture initiatives across multiple projects or domains, ensuring that data models and integration patterns are consistent, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain enterprise-scale data models, data warehouses, and data integration solutions across business domains.
Review data models and solution designs for completeness, quality, performance, and adherence to architecture standards.
Evaluate and compare tools, technologies, and architectural options, recommending fit-for-purpose solutions.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of metadata frameworks (business, technical, and operational).
Collaborate with data governance and engineering teams to ensure consistency and alignment across domains.
Experience / skills required:
Experience: 5–8 years
Experience and knowledge of Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks).
Experience in defining data standards, lineage, and catalog management practices.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a focus on solution quality and scalability.
