We are seeking an experienced and strategic Data Lead with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, enterprise data strategy, data governance, metadata management and Oracle technologies. The ideal candidate will
enhancing and scaling the
enterprise data archietcture,
enhancing
data standards and governance frameworks and
enhancing
modern analytics and AI-driven solutions using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake and Microsoft AI technologies.
This role requires deep technical knowledge in data modeling, metadata management, data lineage, data catalog implementation and Oracle SQL/PLSQL development. The Data Lead will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, governance teams and enterprise Leads to deliver secure, scalable and high-quality data solutions.
Data Lead is responsible for data strategy that is in line with organisation processes. The strategy includes data model designs, creating and maintaining data dictionary and MDM. You will be responsible for analysing requirements, designing data models and ensuring data integrity and security. You will play a crucial part in designing and optimizing conceptual and logical database models

Maintain & enhance enterprise wide data Architecture strategies aligned with business goals.
Define scalable data models, integration patterns and modern data platform architecture.
Maintain & enhance architecture standards, best practices and reusable frameworks.
Maintain & enhance cloud data modernization initiatives using Microsoft Fabric.
Maintain & enhance Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and Medallion architecture.
Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, performant and compliant.
Maintain & enhance AI-ready enterprise data architectures supporting machine learning and generative AI workloads.
E
nhance trusted and governed AI solutions through high-quality, well-managed enterprise data.
Collaborate with AI/ML teams to support model training, feature engineering and AI data pipelines.
Implement scalable data foundations for predictive analytics, intelligent automation
and AI-driven insights.

Maintain & enhance unified analytics platforms leveraging Fabric capabilities.
Maintain & enhance data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and semantic models in Fabric.
Optimize Fabric workloads for performance, governance and cost efficiency.
Configure and manage Microsoft Purview for data governance, classification, lineage, cataloging and compliance management.
Metadata Management, Data Catalog
Establish master data management (MDM) and reference data management standards.
Drive data stewardship and governance adoption across business domains.
Design and implement enterprise metadata management frameworks.
Build and maintain business and technical metadata repositories.
Implement enterprise data catalog solutions using Microsoft Purview and related governance platforms.
Define metadata standards, naming conventions and classification models.
Enable data discoverability, trust and self-service analytics.
Data Lineage, Data Dictionary & Compliance
Establish end-to-end data lineage capabilities across enterprise systems.
Create and maintain enterprise data dictionaries and business glossaries.
Document source-to-target mappings and transformation logic.
Ensure traceability and impact analysis across data pipelines.
Support regulatory and audit requirements through lineage documentation.
Data Modeling
Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Develop dimensional models for analytics and reporting.
Design normalized and denormalized data structures.
Implement enterprise data standards and modeling best practices.
Work closely with development teams to ensure proper implementation.
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
Conduct architecture reviews and solution assessments.
Participate in project planning, estimation and technical governance.
Communicate architecture decisions and technical roadmaps to leadership.
Essential:
5-8 years’ experience in similar role
Fluency in English (written and verbal)
University degree in Computer Science or related subjects

Azure BI technology (Synapse, Power BI, Azure SQL, SSIS, SSAS, Purview, OneLake, ADF)
Microsoft training/certification on DP-203 or DP-500
