We are looking for an skilled Data Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable navigating ambiguity, and passionate about building reliable, scalable, and efficient data systems using the latest technologies. You’ll be responsible for building the backbone of Swift’s data platform — powering analytics, operations, and intelligent decision-making across our products.
What you'll do
Design, build, and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines for structured and unstructured data using Python, Kafka, and modern ELT/ETL frameworks.
Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting across pipelines.
Support deployment and monitoring of analytical and ML models in production.
Continuously improve data reliability, performance, and scalability through automation and system design improvements.
Must haves
Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Engineering or related roles..
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
Ownership mindset and ability to work independently or cross-functionally.
Good to have
Knowledge of containerization and CI/CD (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming, or similar).
Experience with data lineage, governance, and cataloging tools.
Experience supporting data pipelines for analytics dashboards or ML model deployments.
