Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment in a data center environment.
Prepare and execute operation procedures, respond to work request/service failure and provide operational and technical expertise in required areas.
Coordinate vendor support in repairs/replacement and support project implementation (site acceptance tests, factory acceptance tests, site inspection for defects, etc.).
Improve on site Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE) and Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), operational efficiency to minimize environmental impact.
Develop an understanding of the infrastructure design and sequence of operation. Prepare and conduct training/sharing to the team.
Minimum qualifications:
Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of mechanical/HVAC experience (e.g., operations and maintenance of mechanical and HVAC systems or testing, and commissioning) in facilities such as data centers, hospitals, pharma, semiconductor, refineries, power plants, or industrial environments.
Ability to work non-standard hours and work rotations/shifts.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with operations in a data center and troubleshooting for mechanical/HVAC systems.
Experience with maintenance in mechanical or Mechanical, Electric and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs (23 kg) of equipment, the required use of safety equipment such as limited weight bearing work platforms, ladders, step stools and personal protective equipment (PPE) like safety harnesses in accordance with safety and ergonomic guidelines and assessments.
Ability to resolve common system failures.
