Job Overview
As a Data Analyst at Salad Days, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business operations and strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, supply chain, and finance to generate actionable insights and improve overall business performance.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple business functions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards.
Monitor key business metrics and identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Support teams with data-driven insights for operational and strategic decisions.
Develop and maintain reports using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools.
Assist in forecasting, performance tracking, and business analysis.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.
Coordinate with internal teams to understand reporting requirements.
Automate repetitive reports and improve reporting efficiency wherever possible.
Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in data analysis, MIS, reporting, or a similar role.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
Basic knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in food service, retail, QSR, or startup environments.
Knowledge of data visualization and dashboard creation.
Familiarity with business KPIs and operational reporting.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
