Key Responsibilities:
Participate in prototype build of Engine/Coolpac/Genset.
Interpret Engineering Drawing, application of GD&T (Geometrical dimensioning & tolerancing) Generation of drawing for Part Manufacturing.
Design and modify 3D parts as per engineering design standards/requirements by using Creo 5.0 software/SolidWorks.
Analyse the part level Validation Requirements and Design Validation Plan Preparation (DVP).
Failure Analysis with Supplier and client cross functional team, involving Genset integration team, validation team, Design team, Quality team.
Layout finalization across packaging & analysis of Engine/Coolpac/Genset.
Work on Application Engineering tools like GCE, Seismic, Advisor6, EPD for technical literature release in client’s Systems.
Work closely with Plant CFT & provide solutions for customer complaints.
Provide technical support to GOEMs.
Work on creation & updating of New Genset build standards & its release.
Work on new product release, including updating of existing Products.
Ensure timely Application support to client’s Internal & External stakeholders.
Flexible to travel within & outside Pune (either at client’s Plant or GOEM plants) for customer support.
Skills and Experience Requirements
Qualification - B.E. / BTech Mechanical.
Experience Range - 2 to 4 Years.
Sound knowledge of GD&T (Geometrical dimensioning & tolerancing), Part modelling, Application parts.
Sound knowledge of Engine & Genset subsystems.
Identify best practices to ensure optimization of performance, reliability, cost, and quality.
Analyse technical issues using proven problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques for rapid resolution.
Collaborate with teams (Release team, Product management team, Quality team) & communicates effectively.
Design skills: Creo 5.0 – Intermediate to expert., Windchill, Oracle etc.
