Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Country Security Manager (CSM) to join our team! You will be the senior-most physical security leader responsible for protecting employees, assets and operations across our India locations. Based in Bengaluru, this role reports to the APAC Regional Manager, Global Physical Security (GPS), and serves as the in-country authority on risk management, crisis leadership, and security program execution.
This position defines and accomplishes the strategy for Physical Security in India, ensuring alignment with global standards while adapting to the local regulatory, geopolitical, and operational landscape. The CSM is accountable for delivering a scalable, high-performance security program that supports business growth and resilience.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance
Develop and implement the India Physical Security strategy aligned to global security objectives and enterprise risk priorities.
Serve as the principal security advisor to India leadership.
Drive program maturity, standardization, and scalability across all India offices.
Deliver focused financial management and cost optimization in the security budget.
Risk & Threat Management
Lead country-wide risk assessments, threat analysis, and vulnerability reviews.
Help maintains a dynamic country risk register and mitigation roadmap.
Monitor evolving risks including civil unrest, geopolitical developments, labor dynamics, crime trends, and natural disasters.
Crisis & Incident Leadership
Lead crisis response and incident management for all India operations.
Coordinate with global and cross-functional teams such as GSOC, Crisis Management, Investigations & Threat Management, and Executive Protection teams when required.
Conduct post-incident reviews and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Security Operations & Technology
Ensure standardized post orders, SOPs, and site security plans.
Conduct regular physical security audits and compliance reviews.
Coordinate security infrastructure encompassing access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm monitoring.
Vendor & Guard Force Governance
Own end-to-end vendor management, including contract oversight, RFP processes, and performance evaluations.
Implement SLAs through structured metric driven dashboards and quality assurance programs.
Optimize security spend while maintaining operational effectiveness.
Stakeholder & External Engagement
Partner with, but not limited to business functions such as Facilities and EHS&S, HR, Legal, IT, Communications.
Maintain cohesive relationships with local law enforcement, emergency services, and industry peers along with OSAC membership.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 10+ years of dynamic experience in corporate physical security, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership capacity leading multi-site or country-level security operations.
Validated expertise in risk assessment methodologies, crisis management, incident response and investigations.
Strong experience handling guard force vendors and implementing SLAs.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Security, Emergency Management, or a related field.
ASIS CPP, PSP professional certification.
