The Who
We are seeking a target-driven Admissions Counselor with strong presentation skills and proficiency in the local language. The ideal candidate should demonstrate maturity in interactions with parents and students, be presentable, and commit to spending at least an hour on campus daily.
Qualifications:
Education:
A bachelor's degree in education, counselling, psychology, or a related field. A master's degree is often preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience in academic advising, counselling, or a related educational role.
Licensure/Certification:
Depending on the institution, relevant certifications or licensure may be required.
Skills:
Experience:
Prior experience in counselling,, especially in academic settings.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
Empathy and Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to build rapport and trust with students, demonstrating maturity and empathy.
Presentation Skills:
Ability to conduct workshops and presentations for students and parents.
Proficiency in Local Language:
To effectively communicate with the local student population and their families.
Professionalism:
Presentable appearance and demeanour, able to represent the university positively.
Commitment:
Willingness to spend dedicated time on campus to engage with students and participate in campus activities.

Provide academic, career, and personal counselling to students.
Workshops and Presentations:
Conduct sessions on academic planning, career development, and personal growth.
Parent Interaction:
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
Resource Coordination:
Connect students with relevant university resources and external services.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
Campus Engagement: Spend dedicated time on campus to be available for student support and participate in university events.

The underlying problem that we are on a mission to solve - “Education, and even Skill-based Education is not resulting in employment for the people and the employability of today’s youth may not be in line with the demands of the market”. Therefore, there is a bottleneck in the demand-supply chain hampering economic growth and overall well-being of companies and their communities.
