Ugaoo is more than just a plant brand; we’re India's leading one-stop shop for all things gardening. We are looking for a creative, execution-driven Copywriter who will be the engine that brings our brand voice to life every single day. You aren’t just "writing text"; you are translating complex botanical knowledge into engaging, scroll-stopping content across our entire D2C ecosystem.
What You’ll Be Doing?
Website & Marketplace Copy: You will craft highly persuasive Product Detail Pages (PDPs) and conceptualise Amazon A+ content that stands out in a crowded ecommerce space. You know how to break down botanical facts into easy-to-digest, conversion-driven descriptions.
Long-Form, SEO & GEO Content: You will research and write deep-dive, SEO-optimised blogs and plant care guides. You understand GEO nuances - knowing that gardening advice must be strategically tailored for different Indian climates and cities.
CRM & Performance Copy: You will design the narrative for our daily Email, WhatsApp, and SMS campaigns. You know how to craft irresistible subject lines and A/B test hooks to see what drives the highest conversion and retention.
What We’re Looking For?
You’ve spent 2 - 4 years in the trenches of new-age Indian startups or fast-growing D2C brands.
You have hands-on experience writing for ecommerce, specifically PDPs and Amazon A+ listings.
You know the difference between a good email and one that actually converts, and you know how to weave SEO seamlessly into long-form content without making it sound robotic.
You have a sharp eye for detail, impeccable proofreading skills, and a genuine interest in plants and home aesthetics. You’ll be working out of our office in Pune.
