Who we are looking for:
State Street is seeking a skilled candidate to be part of the RKS Conversion project at the Senior Associate Level 360. The Senior Associate will work with the team responsible for data analysis and data conversion of new State Street Clients onto the State Street Middle Office platform.
Candidate Should Have:
Overall 10 to 13 Years of Industry Experience
9+ years of relevant Financial Industry Experience required, preferably Investment Management, Asset Management
Reasonable understanding of Securities, Loans, IBOR/ABOR, Transaction Management
Good knowledge data analysis and data conversion of new Clients to an in-house Middle Office system
Good Communication Skills with good external and internal client interfacing skills
Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives
Experience working on projects related to Middle & Back Office Client On boarding
Great Understanding of Securities, Loans, IBOR/ABOR, Transaction Management
Fair understanding & experience on platforms like IBOR/ABOR, Eagle, Eagle Star, PAM, Portia, CRD
Decent Communication Skills with good external and internal client interfacing skills
Manage a team of 10-15 to meet onboarding goals
Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives
Experience working on projects related to Middle & Back Office Client On boarding
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Access skills, as well as Microsoft Project or other project management software experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology
Nice to have :MBA in Finance, Management, Business Administration from Premier B School
Why this role is important to us:
The team you will be joining will be responsible for data analysis and data conversion of new State Street Clients onto the State Street Middle Office platform. Having said that detailed knowledge on Derivative product is a must so as to understand the client requirements and business ask.
Domain knowledge along with reconciliation background will be a good to have as our end goal is to migrate the client data onto a new Middle office platform with proper reconciliation of various products, pricing, etc.
What you will be responsible for:
Work on inputs and outputs from the conversion process, and communicate issues internally
Understand the current processes and tools used by State Street, and map new requirements to this tool
Resolve issues and gaps in terms of data provided or discrepancies in data between legacy presentation and the future state model basis the feedback provided
Work on the deliverables of conversion planning and testing in order to meet the milestones
Participate in the actual conversion tests (BUAT, CUAT), dress rehearsals and Prod Go Live.
Liaise with clients to obtain additional information that may be necessary from time to time to deliver the conversion activities smoothly
Ensures timely resolution of issues while keeping management informed of any potential risk
Work with Business Leads to training, resolve questions, assess user needs and recommend changes
Work on data analysis and data conversion of new Clients to an in-house Middle Office system
Work on the data conversion development lifecycle and methodology. This includes requirements analysis, solution design, client acceptance, timeline creation, implementation, unit testing, deployment tools, and maintenance
Understand the current processes and tools used by State Street, and map new requirements to this tool
Ability to create data maps, to map the data flow from legacy systems to the in-house systems using existing functionality and processes
Work on inputs and outputs from the conversion process, and communicate issues internally and externally as required
Resolve issues and gaps in terms of data provided or discrepancies in data between legacy presentation and the future state model basis the feedback provided
Work on the deliverables of conversion planning and testing in order to meet the milestones
Participate in the actual conversion tests and dress rehearsals
Responsible for performing daily processes accurately and in accordance with defined time frames and client requirements. May have daily contact with Client Service, Client Management, COEs and Business Unit (BU) Shared Service teams
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
Good knowledge of U.S. Investment Companies Act of 1940 or UCITS
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to analyze investment guidelines and policies to determine testing requirements
Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal planning, and analytical skills
Deadline and detail oriented
Demonstrated computer proficiency, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel, as well as problem solving and analytical skills
Shit Timing : Based on the Project requirement (IST)
Work Location : Bangalore / Hyderabad
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
University degree in Business majoring in Finance, or other Financial-related programs
Overall experience of 7+ years in Middle Office, Back Office, or related work.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have)
Exposure to Charles River Development (CRD)
Coding in Visual Basic Applications (VBA), Java, Macros.
