Role Objective
To lead a centralized 24/7 monitoring control tower that ensures 100% SLA adherence across all dark stores, supply chain models and delivery zones in India. You will be responsible for identifying operational bottlenecks (spikes in demand, rider shortages, serviceability breach) and executing real-time solutions to maintain customer NPS and delivery efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Real-Time Performance Monitoring

SLA Vigilance:
Centrally monitor live dashboards for key metrics: Order to rider assignment, Ship-to-Deliver (STD), and overall Turnaround Time (TAT)
•
Exception Management:
Proactively identify "at-risk" orders and stores before they breach SLAs.
•
Network Health:
Monitor Pan-India "Dark Store" health, ensuring inventory sync, picker availability, and rider log-ins are optimal.
2. Tactical Crisis Management
Demand Spikes:
Manage sudden surges by coordinating with City Ops to extend TATs, or increase batching.
Incident Response:
Lead the "War Room" during large-scale disruptions such as rider strikes, heavy rainfall, or technical app outages.
Bridge Management:
Conduct hourly "Bridge Calls" with regional managers to resolve local bottlenecks.
3. Efficiency & Cost Optimization
Resource Allocation:
Dynamically shift delivery fleet resources between high-demand and low-demand clusters.
Batching & Routing:
Optimize "Batching Rates" to ensure riders carry multiple orders without compromising the delivery promise.
RCA (Root Cause Analysis):
Conduct daily and weekly audits on SLA failures to implement long-term process fixes.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration

Cross-Functional Liaison:
Work with the
Product team
to automate alerts and the
Supply team
to manage rider payouts and incentives during peak periods
•
Reporting:
Publish daily MIS reports to senior leadership (VP Ops/COO) regarding Pan-India performance and cost-per-delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
2–3 years in Central Operations, Control Tower, or Logistics (preferably in E-commerce/Q-comm).
Analytical Rigor:
High proficiency in SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and advanced Excel. You must be able to "read" a dashboard like a map.
Decision Speed:
Ability to make high-stakes decisions (e.g., shutting down a city’s operations during a storm) in seconds.
