As a
Consultant
on the Pricing Strategy (RCP) team, you will support clients in developing pricing and commercial strategies that improve profitability, optimize promotional and trade investments, and enable sustainable revenue growth.
Design and support pricing and commercial strategies using market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling.
Analyze pricing drivers, transaction-level data, trade expenditure, rebate structures, and gross-to-net performance to identify revenue and margin improvement opportunities.
Support retail and consumer goods clients in developing category pricing frameworks, floor pricing strategies, promotional plans, and commercial investment approaches.
Develop financial models, dashboards, and analytical solutions to improve pricing insights and decision support, including AI- and GenAI-enabled use cases where applicable.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to align pricing strategies with business objectives and present analyses, insights, and recommendations to leadership teams.
Contribute to practice development, proposals, thought leadership, and reusable pricing tools, solutions, and methodologies.

We help companies disaggregate their business, for them to see its many parts, identify the economic value of each product and customer and devise ways to communicate and deliver that value to customers.

Design the sales and service capabilities to bring the commercial strategy to market.
Enable commercial agility by selecting the technology platforms required to support the commercial agenda.
The USI Pricing Strategy team works in close collaboration with US teams to design and implement pricing strategies, processes and solutions that generate significant impact for its clients. The team includes recognized thought leaders and specialists in advanced data modeling with decades of collective experience base, built from the delivery of multiple pricing and commercial transformation projects across a wide range of industry settings.

Qualifications
Required:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a recognized institution in India or abroad
2-3 years of experience in strategy consulting, pricing strategy, revenue management, pricing transformation, or commercial strategy
Experience in a pricing function within industry or in strategy consulting with a focus on pricing strategy, planning, or pricing technology
Experience in retail or consumer goods; experience in telecommunications, media and technology, or energy and industrial may also be considered
Experience in one or more of the following: promotions management, pricing strategy, price setting and execution, transactional pricing analysis, commercial spend optimization, gross-to-net analytics, revenue growth management, or Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) process and technology transformation
Experience performing quantitative analysis, market research, and financial modeling using complex data sets
Experience using one or more data analytics or visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, R, Structured Query Language (SQL), or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
Preferred:
Exposure to working with teams or stakeholders outside India, preferably in the United States
Experience with Pricefx, Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, or retail planning tools
Experience supporting retail category pricing, floor pricing, promotional planning, or trade investment optimization
Exposure to applying artificial intelligence (AI) or generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools in pricing, reporting, or workflow automation contexts
