About this role

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a visionary and technically adept Connectivity – Service and Architecture Lead to manage and evolve a high-impact team responsible for building and operating secure, business-critical IT infrastructure across NXP’s global footprint. This role will lead the design, implementation, and governance of services spanning network connectivity, routing/switching, firewalls, containers, virtual machines, databases, backup, storage, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Linux environments for including on-prem infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy • Lead and manage cross-functional global team delivering secure IT services for NXP’s business-critical secure areas. • Define and execute architectural vision aligned with NXP’s global connectivity roadmap. • Collaborate with vendors, partners, managed service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence. Infrastructure & Operations • Oversee the lifecycle of network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewall rule sets, cloud/on-prem firewalls, and secure routing/switching. • Manage containerized environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift), virtual machines, and database platforms. • Ensure robust backup and storage solutions are in place for high availability and disaster recovery. Security & Governance • Align network security architecture with governance teams/frameworks and certifications (GSMA, Common Criteria). • Drive automation for various technical projects for provisioning, monitoring, and policy enforcement. • Collaborate with NXP’s governance and certification teams to align infrastructure environment to secure access controls. Architecture & Automation • Develop and maintain architectural standards and building blocks for secure connectivity services. • Lead automation initiatives to streamline operations and improve service agility. • Ensure architectural governance and lifecycle management across all infrastructure domains. ________________________________________ Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. • 12+ years of experience in network architecture, infrastructure operations, and secure IT services. • Proven leadership in managing global infrastructure teams and delivering scalable solutions. • Deep experience with: o Firewall Platforms: Palo Alto Networks, ZScaler, Fortinet, Cisco Firewalls o Automation Tools: Ansible, Python o Infrastructure Domains: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, VM management, backup, storage o Protocols & Standards: TCP/IP, VLANs, ACLs, BGP, OSPF, IDS/IPS, VPN • Monitoring & Governance: SIEM platforms, log management, threat intelligence tools, GSMA, Common Criteria • Certifications (desired): o CCNP/CCIE Security o Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) o JNCIP-SEC o AWS/Azure Security Specialty More information about NXP in India... #LI-7013
