POSITION SUMMARY: NXP Semiconductors is seeking a seasoned Network Operations Lead to oversee and drive the operational excellence of its Global Connectivity infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, On-Prem/Cloud Networking, Firewalls, DDIN, DNS, and Load Balancing. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless connectivity across NXP’s global footprint and will be based in India, supporting the strategic Operations/Expansion of our Global Network Ecosystem. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Lead day-to-day operations of NXP’s global network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. • Manage incident, change, and problem resolution processes in alignment with ITIL standards. • Collaborate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure SLA adherence and continuous service improvement. • Act as a liaison between Global Business Groups, On-Site Support Leads, and Infrastructure Engineering Teams to align network operations with business needs. • Oversee the health and performance of LAN/WAN (MPLS, SD-WAN)/WiFi networks, cloud and on-prem connectivity, firewalls, DDIN, DNS, and load balancing systems. • Support data center operations, including network security, compliance, and capacity planning. • Contribute to strategic initiatives such as network security platform unification, data center rationalization, and next-gen WiFi upgrades. • Participate in M&A integrations and new site/lab builds, ensuring network readiness and scalability. • Utilize tools like ServiceNow, Splunk, and Observo for proactive monitoring, incident tracking, and performance analytics. • Drive improvements in MTTR, First Time Resolution, and First Contact Resolution metrics. ________________________________________ Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 10+ years of experience in network operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. • Proven expertise in managing global network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, WiFi, cloud, and security domains. • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and experience working with MSPs. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across geographies and functions. • Hands-on experience with Cisco networking platforms (routers, switches, wireless controllers). • Experience with Palo Alto Networks/Fortinet/Cisco firewalls and security appliances. • Proficiency with F5/Avi load balancers and application delivery controllers. • Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud networking and hybrid connectivity. • Experience with ServiceNow for ITSM and operational workflows. • Proficiency with Splunk for log analysis and network performance monitoring. • Familiarity with Network Monitoring Tools such as SolarWinds, Observo, or equivalent platforms. • Experience with DNS/DDI solutions and secure mobile access technologies. • Hands-on expertise with: o Firewall Platforms like: Palo Alto Networks, ZScaler, Fortinet, Cisco Firewalls o Cloud Security: AWS and Azure firewall services, cloud-native security controls o Networking Technologies like MPLS, SD-WAN, WiFi, LAN, DNS, Load Balancing, Protocols/Debugging/Troubleshooting o Automation Tools: Terraform, Ansible, Python scripting for firewall automation o Security Capabilities: DLP, CASB, Zero Touch, CNAAP, URL Filtering, SaaS Security, AI Edge Security, AI Ops, Advanced Threat Protection o Monitoring & ITSM Tools: Splunk, ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Observo More information about NXP in India... #LI-2734
