Create custom scripts, plugins, and automated tools to optimize structural design processes.
Develop and implement computational design workflows using scripting, automation, and digital tools.
Integrate computational design methodologies with Architectural Revit models and other BIM tools.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to enhance project workflows and efficiency.
Utilize engineering software such as SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE and similar tools for structural analysis.
Develop and maintain scripts using Python, C#, .NET, and API integrations for structural engineering software.
Apply visual programming tools such as Rhino,Grasshopper, Rhino.Inside Revit, and Dynamo for computational modeling (is a plus but not required).
Provide technical support and training on computational design tools to project teams.
Research, evaluate, and lead training sessions on new plugins, products, and modelling techniques.
Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university (Master’s degree in Computational Design or related field is a plus).
2 to 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on computational design and digital workflows.
Strong expertise in SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE and similar engineering software.
Programming background in Python, C#, and API development for structural software.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and research skills with a passion for technology and automation.
Ability to lead meetings, present ideas, and train teams on computational design workflows.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to quickly learn new tools and techniques and create custom solutions where necessary.
