About this role

ABOUT THE ROLE  We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and hands-on Compensation & Benefits Manager to support India, China and the broader APAC region who will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and delivery of total rewards programs across the APAC region. Reporting into the Total Rewards function, this role serves as the primary point of contact for HRBPs and people leaders on all matters related to compensation and benefits, ensuring programs are administered consistently, compliantly, and in alignment with the organization's total rewards philosophy.  Partnering closely with the Head of Global Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, business leaders, and Finance, you will bring the Total Rewards global strategy to life at the local level, ensuring employees and leaders across India, China and APAC experience Total Rewards as a genuine differentiator in attracting and retaining top talent.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Compensation & Benefits Support  Provide end-to-end compensation and benefits support across the employee lifecycle, including job evaluations, offer recommendations, promotions, internal transfers, and retention actions.  Partner with HR Business Partners to deliver consistent, equitable, and competitive pay decisions aligned with the organization's compensation philosophy and pay structures.  Support the administration of regional benefits programs, ensuring plans are competitive, compliant with local regulations, and effectively communicated to employees.  Assist in the planning and execution of the annual compensation review cycle, including merit, promotions, and incentive programs, for India and APAC populations.  Educate and coach HR Business Partners and people managers on Total Rewards programs, tools, and decision-making frameworks to build internal capability across the region.  Benefits Administration  Responsible for the administration of India statutory benefits programs, including Provident Fund (PF/EPF), Employees' State Insurance (ESIC), Gratuity, National Pension Scheme (NPS), and Professional Tax, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and timely filings.  Manage supplemental and voluntary benefits offerings in India & China, including group health insurance (mediclaim), group term life, group personal accident, and employee assistance programs (EAP), coordinating with brokers and insurers on renewals, claims, and escalations.  Administer leave programs in accordance with the Shops & Establishments Act, Factories Act, Maternity Benefit Act, and other applicable state and central legislation.  Play a key role in the annual benefits renewal process for India & China, including vendor evaluation, plan benchmarking, cost analysis, and negotiation in partnership with brokers and Finance.  Serve as the primary escalation point for employee benefits issues in India, working directly with insurers, TPAs, and vendors to resolve claims disputes and service issues promptly.  Ensure benefits enrollment, changes, and data are accurately maintained across HRIS and carrier/vendor portals, conducting regular audits to validate data integrity.  Develop and deliver clear employee communications on India & China benefits programs, including new hire orientation materials, open enrollment guides, and policy updates.  Monitor changes in India & China labor law and benefits regulations, assess organizational impact, and partner with Legal and Finance to implement required plan or policy adjustments.  Benchmark India & China benefits programs against local market practices using survey data and peer analysis, making recommendations to maintain competitiveness and manage costs.  Market Pricing & Competitive Benchmarking  Conduct comprehensive market pricing and competitive benchmarking using third-party survey data from providers such as Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, and Radford/Aon to evaluate internal positions against external market rates.  Analyze regional compensation trends, pay equity indicators, and labor market dynamics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to HR leadership and the global COE.  Support the evaluation and grading of new and existing roles, applying consistent job architecture and market pricing methodology across the region.  Required  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field  7+ years of progressive Total Rewards or compensation experience, with significant exposure to India and/or APAC markets  Demonstrated experience serving as a compensation business partner or internal consultant to HR and business leaders  Strong proficiency in market pricing methodologies and survey tools (Mercer, WTW, Radford/Aon)  Solid understanding of India compensation practices, statutory requirements, and benefits regulations  Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency;
