Role Overview
The MSME Business Development Intern will be responsible for reaching out to Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across assigned territories and introducing them to our payment solutions. This role involves lead generation, consultative selling, relationship management, and onboarding support.
This is a performance-driven internship with strong learning exposure and potential full-time conversion.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Lead Generation & Outreach :
Identify and approach MSMEs within assigned geography
Conduct cold calls, and follow-ups
Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline
2. Product Presentation & Consultative Selling :
Understand client requirements and payment challenges
Present tailored payment solutions
Explain product features, onboarding process, and commercial terms
3. Relationship Management :
Build strong relationships with business owners and key decision-makers
Address objections and resolve queries in a professional manner
4. Deal Closure & Onboarding :
Ensure timely follow-ups for conversion
Support documentation and onboarding processes
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth activation
Market Intelligence :
Share feedback on customer concerns and competitor offerings
Provide insights to improve product positioning
Eligibility Criteria :
Pursuing or recently completed graduation
Strong interest in B2B sales, fintech, or business development
Good verbal communication skills in English/Telugu/Kannada/Hindi.
Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
