Role Overview
The
Civil Head
will lead Micromitti’s civil engineering function — driving the design, execution, and quality of sustainable infrastructure projects. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and a deep commitment to green construction practices. The ideal candidate will oversee project delivery end-to-end while building a high-performing civil engineering team aligned with Micromitti’s sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil infrastructure projects (roads, water systems, soil stabilization, micro-structures, etc.).
Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate with environmental, architectural, and R&D teams to integrate sustainable materials and circular construction principles.
Develop engineering standards, SOPs, and safety protocols in line with national and environmental regulations.
Manage vendors, contractors, and government liaisons for permits and compliance.
Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimation, and risk assessments for new projects.
Mentor and develop the civil engineering team, fostering innovation and accountability.
Drive adoption of green technologies and low-carbon materials in construction processes.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
12+ years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience managing end-to-end infrastructure projects (preferably sustainable or green projects).
Strong understanding of construction management, structural design, soil mechanics, and hydrology.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Commitment to sustainability, environmental responsibility, and community impact.
