Position Summary As a Manager within the Product Compliance & Product Stewardship team, you will lead and support cross-functional initiatives while ensuring alignment with global regulatory requirements and advancing operational excellence. This role is responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and alignment with business priorities and stakeholder expectations. You will leverage your regulatory expertise to identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, implement automation, and optimize processes while maintaining compliance standards. The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a continuous improvement mindset to drive compliant, sustainable outcomes and support organizational growth. Responsibilities Drive continuous improvement of compliance processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability. Lead and support cross-functional projects, ensuring timely, high-quality, and compliant delivery. Execute team and organizational strategies, translating objectives into actionable plans and ensuring delivery against defined goals and KPIs. Coach and develop team members to strengthen their project leadership and delivery capabilities. Identify and implement automation opportunities, leveraging AI and robotic technologies to optimize workflows. Assess emerging regulations and legislation, supporting interpretation and implementation within the organization. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives. Promote a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team. Required Qualifications Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, or related discipline); advanced degree preferred. Recognised project management qualification (e.g. 6 sigma, PMP) Experience 8+ years’ experience in product compliance, product stewardship, regulatory affairs, or a related role within a regulated industry. Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver results in complex, matrixed environments. Strong track record in driving process improvements and operational efficiencies. Experience applying global regulatory requirements (e.g., REACH, RoHS, CLP, GHS, FDA or similar) in a business context. Experience supporting or implementing new and emerging regulatory requirements. Exposure to automation or digital initiatives (e.g., AI, RPA, workflow tools) preferred. Experience coaching or developing team members. Demonstrated ability to execute strategy and deliver against goals and KPIs. Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of global product compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., REACH, RoHS, PIC, Precursors, EPA or similar). Solid understanding of product stewardship principles and regulatory risk management. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making. Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities, including use of AI and digital tools. Effective leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop team capability. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels. Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical business actions. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on strategy execution and goal delivery.
