Job Summary:
The Accounts & Finance Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Scrutinize day-to-day accounting vouchers including Journal, Purchase, Sales, and Bank entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Finalize Trial Balance by verifying posted entries, transfer entries, and other financial transactions in the ERP system.
Prepare monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Flash Reports, and Capex reports.
Report financial data using internal reporting tools such as COGNOS.
Monitor and track key financial metrics such as Working Capital, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and Days Payable Outstanding (DPO).
Prepare and manage regular Cash Flow Statements to ensure smooth financial operations.
Ensure timely follow-up and dispatch of documents to customers and maintain control over inward material documentation.
Conduct weekly reconciliation of Trade Receivables and Payables with customer and vendor ledger statements.
Collaborate with the Operations team to review overdue receivables and plan vendor payments based on collections and fund positions.
Perform Budget vs. Actual analysis and coordinate with various departments to ensure budget adherence.
Handle statutory audits in compliance with the Companies Act, 2013.
Manage filing of statutory returns and payments including GST, TDS/TCS, and Provident Fund.
Represent the organization in matters related to GST, EPF, and Income Tax departments.
Coordinate with banks for financial instruments such as Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit, and foreign remittances.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/ CMA Inter preferred).
0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., COGNOS).
Good understanding of GST, TDS, PF, and other statutory compliances.
Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis.
