About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and performance-driven Channel Manager to manage and optimize our online sales and marketing channels for a fast-growing D2C gardening brand. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing Shopify operations, Amazon marketplace performance, Meta marketing campaigns, and overall channel growth strategies.
This role requires someone who can coordinate across teams, monitor channel health regularly, improve ROI, and ensure smooth execution of campaigns, product launches, and platform operations. The candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced D2C environment.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Management & Operations
Manage and oversee all digital sales channels including Shopify website, Amazon marketplace, Meta platforms, and other relevant e-commerce channels.
Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of all online channels including product listings, inventory coordination, pricing updates, promotions, and campaign execution.
Regularly monitor channel performance, traffic, sales trends, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
Identify channel-specific opportunities to improve sales, conversion rates, and customer acquisition.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather channel requirements and ensure timely implementation.
Shopify Management
Manage Shopify backend operations including product uploads, collections, landing pages, discounts, integrations, and website updates.
Coordinate with design and tech teams for website optimization and campaign implementation.
Monitor website performance metrics such as conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV, and customer journey.
Ensure smooth customer experience across the website.
Work on improving retention and repeat purchase strategies through Shopify tools and apps.
Amazon Marketplace Management
Handle Amazon seller account operations including listings, catalog management, keyword optimization, inventory tracking, and promotions.
Monitor marketplace performance metrics including sales, ROAS, ACOS, and visibility.
Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability and timely fulfillment.
Optimize product pages and marketplace campaigns for better rankings and conversions.
Manage marketplace hygiene and resolve listing or operational issues proactively.
Meta Marketing & Paid Campaigns
Work closely with the marketing team on Meta advertising campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.
Monitor campaign performance, audience targeting, ad spends, CTR, conversions, and ROI.
Support campaign planning for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand promotions.
Analyze ad performance data and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and returns.
Coordinate creative and content requirements with design and content teams.
Cross-functional Coordination
Gather requirements from internal stakeholders including marketing, design, operations, customer support, and leadership teams.
Ensure channel requirements are prioritized and executed efficiently.
Coordinate campaign timelines, product launches, and platform updates across departments.
Act as the point of contact for all channel-related execution and troubleshooting.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Regularly track KPIs across all channels including revenue, ROAS, ROI, CAC, traffic, conversions, and customer engagement.
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations.
Identify growth opportunities and operational gaps across channels.
Ensure marketing spends and channel investments are optimized for profitability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, Digital Marketing, or related field.
Experience
3–6 years of experience in channel management, e-commerce, or growth marketing for a D2C or consumer brand.
Prior experience working with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and Meta Ads Manager is mandatory.
Experience in lifestyle, home, gardening, or consumer product brands is preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Shopify platform management.
Hands-on experience with Amazon marketplace operations and analytics.
Understanding of Meta Ads, campaign tracking, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with Google Analytics, performance dashboards, and reporting tools.
Basic understanding of SEO, CRM, and retention marketing is an advantage.
Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and reporting metrics.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Passionate about D2C brands, digital commerce, and performance marketing.
Strong understanding of customer behavior and online buying journeys.
Ability to balance operational efficiency with growth-focused execution.
Experience managing multiple online channels simultaneously is highly preferred.
