Job Description
What you will do
In this role, you will support the advancement and adoption of Amgen’s global ways of working, with a focus on strengthening how teams collaborate across geographies, time zones, and functions.
Reporting into global Results Delivery Office (RDO) leadership and working in close partnership with other core business partners, you will help translate enterprise teaming principles into practical tools, routines, and behaviors that improve execution, alignment, and team effectiveness.
You will play a key role in ensuring that global teaming practices—such as asynchronous collaboration, clear ownership, and consistent operating norms—are embedded into day-to-day ways of working across teams.
This role requires strong change management, stakeholder engagement, and operational discipline to drive adoption and sustain behavior change at scale.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead rollout and adoption of global teaming practices across functions and geographies
Enable teams to implement practical tools and behaviors that improve collaboration (e.g., asynchronous work, structured handoffs, decision frameworks)
Partner with program and functional teams to embed ways of working into day-to-day execution
Activate and support change champion networks to drive local adoption and feedback loops
Partner with functional leaders and champions to reinforce teaming behaviors and operating norms
Develop and deliver enablement materials, playbooks, and guidance to support adoption
Maintain and enhance global teaming tools, templates, and resources to ensure usability and relevance
Integrate resources into existing platforms and workflows to drive accessibility and sustained usage
Continuously refine materials based on user feedback and evolving needs
Gather and synthesize feedback from teams, champions, and stakeholders to identify barriers to adoption
Leverage structured listening mechanisms (e.g., health checks, feedback channels) to generate actionable insights
Identify collaboration friction points and drive targeted interventions to improve effectiveness
Contribute to the evolution of change capabilities and global teaming strategy based on data and insights
Partner with global RDO, functional leaders, and transformation teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment
Act as a connector between central strategy and local execution to drive clarity and consistency
What we expect of you
Experience in transformation, change management, program delivery, or operational excellence
Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of new ways of working or behavioral change initiatives
Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to work across geographies and functions
Experience translating high-level strategy into practical tools, routines, and guidance
Ability to operate in a global, matrixed environment and influence without direct authority
High ownership mindset with focus on adoption, impact, and outcomes
Basic Qualifications:
Master’s OR Bachelor's degree and 8 to 13 years of Business Performance, Continuous Improvement, or Project Management experience
Preferred Experience:
Experience supporting enterprise-wide change or culture initiatives focused on improving collaboration, team effectiveness, or ways of working
Exposure to designing or deploying operating norms (e.g., decision-making frameworks, team charters, collaboration models) across distributed teams
Experience working with change champion networks or similar models to drive local adoption and feedback loops
Familiarity with structured listening mechanisms (e.g., surveys, health checks, listening sessions) to inform continuous improvement
Ways of Working:
Ability to influence behavior change through structured interventions, communication, and stakeholder engagement
Strong ability to translate abstract principles (e.g., asynchronous collaboration, global norms) into practical, team-level actions
Comfort working across time zones and cultures, with sensitivity to different working styles and collaboration challenges
Analytical and iterative mindset, using data and feedback to refine approaches and improve adoption outcomes
