We need a high-growth mindset individual to sit directly alongside the Founders and act as our analytical engine. Your mandate is simple but difficult: bring order to the chaos and turn raw operational data into monetizable insights that dictate our strategy.
Role Overview
The Category Head will be responsible for driving the trading of bulk chemicals. The role involves
strategic sourcing, operations
and
end-to-end P&L ownership
. This is a leadership position with significant growth opportunities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Trading & Market Development
Manage trading of key chemicals such as Solvents (Separate for Methanol) / Caustic Soda (Caustic Soda Lye) / Acetic Acid / Sulphuric Acid,/ LABSA or other high volume individual categories.
Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure all operations are in compliance with Indian chemical import/export laws, GST norms, BIS standards, and environmental regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
6+ years of experience in trading of bulk chemicals, preferably in India
PREFERRED SKILLS
Ability to lead cross-functional teams (logistics, finance, operations)
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach tfor category ownership
