About this role

Conduct thorough on-site / offsite evaluation and quantification of emissions of greenhouse gases produced by Individuals, organisations, or industrial processes. Conducting audits to measure and analyse carbon emissions, identifying areas of improvement, recommending strategies to reduce carbon footprint, and providing guidance on sustainable practices. Conducting emissions inventories, analysing, data, recommending mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliances with regulations and standards related to greenhouse gas emissions. Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and implement emission reduction plans, monitor progress, and ensure compliances with environmental regulation and standards, Guidance on sustainability initiatives and help organisations to reduce their carbon footprint. Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability, or a related field. Certification in carbon footprint assessment methodologies such as ISO 14064 or GHG Protocol can be beneficial. Prior experience in conducting carbon footprint assessments, implanting emission reduction strategies, or working with environmental management systems have an advantage. Familiarity with carbon accounting methodologies, greenhouse gas emissions inventorying, and environmental regulation is essential. Knowledge of relevant Indian environmental laws and regulations, as well as international standards is valuable Good written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills, attention to details, and ability to interpret data are crucial for conducting carbon footprint assessment.
