About this role

Role purpose Lead the development and deployment of the “Capability Development Roadmap” in defined geography (North & East India) and implement the Capability enhancement strategy by focusing on the enhancement of customer experience - the scope includes skills, behaviors, systems, and processes for internal Syngenta sales personnel and external customers. Deliver learning solutions that result in desired behavior change in relevant divisional teams and lead efforts to streamline learning efficiency and effectiveness by advancing adoption of enabling tools in designated divisions Develop and deliver best practices targeted at the proposed geography working closely with the country capability lead and regional (APAC) MaSE for enhanced Field Force Effectiveness Accountability Capability Assessment & Strategy  - Identify capability gaps through needs analysis, performance data, and strategy alignment, develop capability enhancement roadmaps for designated divisions and functions and partner with leadership to prioritize critical skills for organizational success Learning Program Design & Delivery  - Customize and deploy targeted learning intervention for selected persona by curating internal and external learning resources and leveraging innovative learning methodologies e.g. blended learning, microlearning, digital platforms (BODHi gurukul and Learning Edge). Drive key organizational excellence programs like MaSE across leadership streams. Measurement & Continuous Improvement  - Track learning effectiveness through metrics (engagement, completion rates, business impact), gather feedback and iterate on programs and report on capability development progress to leadership Culture & Change Management -  Champion a culture of continuous learning and growth mindset, support organizational change through targeted capability building, and promote knowledge sharing and collaboration Knowledge, experience & capabilities Critical knowledge Bachelor’s Degree (Masters Preferred) with a minimum of 5-year sales experience Critical experience Expert level understanding of selling and fundamental marketing processes and 3-4 years of experience in people management Industry and domain knowledge along with L&D experience is desired Global program rollout, large scale project management, vendor management, budget ownership and experience in agile / iterative program development. Stakeholder management and influencing, facilitation and training delivery, and organizational transformation. Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities Technical Capabilities  - L & D expertise, learning technology and platforms (LMS, Digital Learning Tools, learning analytics, content curation, virtual facilitation. Capability & need analysis, learning evaluation and measurement. Program & Project Mgt. and Content Development Professional Capabilities - Strategic thinking, stakeholder management, communication and facilitation, change management, coaching and mentoring and collaboration & teamwork Personal Capabilities - Emotional Intelligence, adaptability and agility, growth mindset, result orientation, leadership presence, problem solving, time management and priority management. Critical Success Factors Strategic alignment- Deep understanding of Syngenta's business strategy and priorities and ability to translate business needs into capability requirements Stakeholders buy in and engaging along with agility and adaptability of critical learning interventions Communicating and collaborating across all levels of the organization and developing a learning culture and mindset across the sales organization. Driving effective use of learning platforms and digital tools, data-driven insights on learning effectiveness and scalable and accessible learning solutions. Developing and implementing a blended curriculum (that includes pre-learning, learning and post-learning) and infrastructure to support the process. Create a learning and teaching process apart from a measurement index to measure the impact of the capability development Programs Work together strategically with MaSE to enhance learning opportunities. Coordinate efforts with the L&D agenda with the division strategic agenda Key Challenges Competing priorities and resource constraints, resistance to change, measuring impact and RoI, Divisional complexity and localization, technology adoption and digital literacy and busy workforce are some of the key challenges Additional information Travel Requirements – 50% or greater Innovations Employee may, as part of his/her role and maybe through multifunctional teams, participate in the creation and design of innovative solutions.
