Overview:
We are looking for a strategic, well-connected, and commercially-minded Business Development Manager to join our Go Louder Team. This isn't just a sales role; it’s about being a creative bridge between world-class talent and high-end event requirements. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, nurturing industry relationships, and ensuring that every booking is both a creative success and a financial win.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Growth:
Develop and execute a cohesive business development strategy to drive revenue and expand our footprint for the Go Louder Business.
Talent Intermediary:
Act as a creative consultant for clients, working directly with artists and their management teams to provide tailored solutions that meet complex event requirements.
Pipeline Management:
Maintain an organized approach to the sales funnel, utilizing CRM tracking to manage leads, follow-ups, and conversion metrics.
End-to-End Servicing:
Provide "patient" client servicing- balancing the high-pressure needs of talent with the exacting expectations of the end client.
Financial Oversight:
Manage the "margin business" by building effective P&L forecasts for projects, ensuring all deals are profitable, reasonable, and sustainable.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work seamlessly with internal talent teams and external partners to ensure flawless execution of booked events.
Qualifications and Prior Experience:
Experience:
3–5 years of proven experience in business development or talent booking within the entertainment, music, or event agency space.
The Rolodex:
Existing, active relationships with event agencies, talent bookers, and artist management teams.
Commercial Acumen:
A solid understanding of P&L forecasting, margin management, and the financial mechanics of talent booking.
Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills; you can navigate a boardroom and a backstage area with equal ease.
Organization:
A disciplined approach to CRM management and project tracking.
