Job Summary
The Business Development Manager (BDM) – MBBS will be responsible for expanding MetaApply’s international MBBS business by developing strong partnerships with education consultants, agents, schools, and channel partners. The role focuses on driving student enrollments for overseas MBBS programs across countries such as Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Nepal, Philippines, and other emerging destinations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of the international MBBS market, admission and visa processes, student counseling ecosystem, and agent network management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional business development strategies for international MBBS programs.
Identify, onboard, and manage education agents, consultants, and channel partners to generate student leads and admissions.
Build long-term relationships with active recruitment partners to ensure consistent student conversions.
Promote overseas MBBS universities and programs through seminars, webinars, school visits, education fairs, and marketing activities.
Drive monthly and quarterly student enrollment targets for MBBS destinations.
Conduct market research to understand student trends, competitor activities, and emerging MBBS destinations.
Train and support agents on university offerings, admission criteria, scholarship opportunities, and visa requirements.
Coordinate with internal admissions, compliance, and operations teams for seamless application processing.
Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, and partner performance through CRM systems.
Provide regular business reports, sales forecasts, and market feedback to management.
Ensure compliance with university guidelines, visa documentation, and regulatory requirements.
Represent MetaApply during partner meetings, industry events, and international education expos.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
3–8 years of experience in overseas education, preferably in MBBS recruitment or international student admissions.
Strong understanding of international MBBS admission processes and destinations.
Proven experience in agent acquisition and relationship management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Target-driven mindset with strong business development capabilities.
Ability to travel extensively for partner meetings and market expansion activities.
Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Existing network of education agents and consultants in the MBBS segment.
Knowledge of visa processes and medical university admission requirements.
Experience working with international universities or education service providers.
CRM management and reporting expertise.
Strong counseling and conversion understanding for medical aspirants.
