Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused professional to provide on-ground support for our Point of Sale (POS) systems. This role involves direct interaction with clients, overseeing POS deployment, conducting on-site training, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth functioning of POS hardware and software at customer locations. The candidate will also serve as a liaison between the sales team and clients, driving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end POS system deployment and provide hands-on training to users
Help troubleshoot problems with the software, customer accounts and other related issues
Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding software programming, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns
Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions
Collaborates with programmers to explain errors and/or recommend modifications in programs
Work with Sales team to create and implement targeted sales strategies
Provide customer service by staying connected with the customers
Identify where improvement is needed in sales practices and make suggestions for improvements
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
At least 2-3 years of experience in field sales (banking, telecom, FMCG, or fin-tech preferred)
Basic understanding of digital payments / POS systems (preferred)
Exceptional communicator with strong customer service and problem‑ solving skills
Proficient in both hardware and software systems
Knowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniques.
Travel throughout the assigned territory and visit customers on a recurring basis
Candidates must have their own two-wheeler and a valid driving license (mandatory)
