About the role
We are seeking an execution-focused Business Development Executive to serve as the critical bridge between our Sales Leadership, internal delivery teams (Design & Tech), and prospective clients. In this role, you will not be responsible for cold-calling or final deal closing; instead, your mission is to maximize the efficiency of our sales lifecycle.
You will assist the Sales Head by owning the administrative, operational, and documentation heavy-lifting—running initial qualification, translating ambiguous client inputs into structured scope documents, leveraging modern AI tools for deep-dive market R&D, and assembling visually polished, value-led proposals. If you are highly organized, tech-savvy, & love the craft of turning complex tech/design conversations into flawless documentation, this role is for you.
What you’ll be doing - Responsibilities
Process Orchestration:
Assist the Sales Leadership in managing the end-to-end sales funnel, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and prompt follow-ups.
Scoping & Estimation Coordination:
Partner with Tech and Design Leads to extract, compile, and validate effort estimations based on client discovery sessions.
Proposal & SOW Drafting:
Turn complex, technical, and design-led requirements into clean, client-ready proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and case studies using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
AI-Led Market R&D:
Actively utilize modern generative AI tools and secondary research methodologies to deep-dive into a prospective client's industry, tech stack, and competitors to feed tailored insights to the Sales Leadership before discovery calls.
CRM & Data Hygiene:
Maintain absolute data integrity in our CRM (HubSpot), tracking opportunity stages, logs, and collateral so pipeline metrics are perfectly visible to leadership.
Internal Cross-Functional Liaison:
Act as the operational glue, ensuring busy internal delivery leads provide required inputs for proposals without internal friction.
Ad-Hoc Documentation:
Own miscellaneous department documentation tasks, including NDA/MSA coordination, meeting minute tracking, client onboarding handovers, and updating internal sales templates and other monthly/quarterly reports.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Experience
: 3+ years of hands-on experience as a BDE, Sales Operations Executive, or Presales Coordinator within an IT services, digital product engineering, or design-focused firm selling to B2B global markets.
The
‘Documentation’ DNA
: Exceptional ability to structure text and data cleanly. You must be highly proficient with spreadsheets (for pricing matrices) and presentation tools (to build cohesive proposal layouts).
Tech & Design Literacy
: A baseline understanding of the digital product lifecycle (UX/UI design phases, frontend/backend engineering, APIs, agile sprints) to intelligently document technical & business conversations.
AI Tool Fluency
: Practical, daily experience using modern AI applications for prompt-based market research, proposal personalization, and drafting.
Hyper-Organized
: Proven capability to juggle 3–4 custom proposals and multiple internal stakeholders simultaneously without missing a detail.
Communication
: Flawless written and spoken English, paired with an empathetic, collaborative internal communication style.
Education
: MBA or a degree in a relevant technical/business field is preferred but not mandatory. An engineering background is a must.
