Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst / Process Excellence Lead to drive business process documentation, optimization, and standardization across Medhavi Skills University.The incumbent will work closely with multiple departments including academics, examinations,admissions, finance, IQAC, client servicing, and delivery teams to map workflows, identify inefficiencies, and create structured operating procedures and automation-ready process frameworks. This role is critical in helping the organization build scalable, efficient, and well-governed operational systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Mapping & Analysis
• Map end-to-end business processes across key functions including admissions, examinations, academics, finance, client servicing, delivery, and compliance.
• Conduct workflow analysis to identify process gaps, bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies.
• Develop detailed swimlane diagrams, process maps, and workflow documentation.
2. SOP & Governance Framework
• Design and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and process control mechanisms.
• Establish RACI matrices and accountability frameworks for critical operational workflows.
• Define control checkpoints and governance mechanisms to improve process compliance.
3. Continuous Improvement & Optimization
• Recommend process improvement initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma principles.
• Conduct turnaround time analysis and productivity assessments across functions.
• Drive standardization and simplification of operational workflows.
4. Automation & Systems Enablement
• Identify opportunities for process automation and digitization across departments.
• Collaborate with business systems/technology teams to define requirements for workflow automation.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for internal tools, software enhancements, and product builds.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with department heads and functional teams to understand pain points and operational challenges.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions for process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support change management and adoption of revised workflows/processes.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in business analysis, process excellence, operational improvement, or business transformation roles.
• Prior experience in:
Education / EdTech
Consulting
Shared Services / BPO
Operations-heavy organizations
• Strong understanding of process mapping, workflow analysis, and SOP development
• Expertise in swimlane mapping, RACI frameworks, SLA creation, and turnaround analysis
• Familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies preferred
• Experience in preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and functionaldocumentation
• Proficiency in tools such as:

Asana
ClickUp
Airtable / Similar productivity platforms
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and structured problem-solving ability
